Information about Tuesday

This is just a reminder of a couple of things:

1. I will have an office hour starting at 1:00 on Tuesday.

2. Our final exam (reading) starts at 2:00 on Tuesday. Bring a green scantron card to the test. You can buy a small packet of scantron cards in the Bookstore.

Writing test and grammar quiz on Thursday

Grammar Sense: Review chapters 15 and 16 for the grammar quiz on conditionals and wishes.

Writing exam: You may use a paper dictionary (no electronic dictionaries or other electronic devices) during the writing exam on Thursday.

Homework given Dec. 2

Grammar Sense: Study page 363 and do exercises D3, E1, and E2 in your book (pages 365-367). There will be a quiz on Chapters 15 and 16 on Thursday.

American Roots: Study pages 122-131 and do all of the exercises on those pages.

Monday, December 1, 2008

Homework given Dec. 1

Grammar Sense: Do exercise B5 (page 358) in your book. Then study pages 359-362 and do exercises C2 and C3 in your book.

American Roots: Study pages 112-121 and do all the exercises on those pages. Also, be sure to read "This Day in History" on today's blog.

Grammar Sense: Study pages 352-355 and do exercises A3 and B2 in your book.

American Roots: Study pages 108-112 and do all of the exercises on those pages. Bring a CD of traditional music from your country on Monday. Also bring your book report book and notes. Don't forget that your book report is due next Thursday.
